Return decisions
Every request gets a recommended outcome and the reason behind it, so the same case does not get judged three different ways by three different people.
Compare the alternativesOpstimal Return Rescue scores each return request and routes it to an exchange, store credit, a refund, or manual review. It also shows which products keep coming back, and what about them is causing it.

Each request is scored on order value, item history, and customer signal, then routed to exchange, store credit, refund, or a human.
Products are ranked by the revenue sitting behind their returns, with the page copy, sizing, or packaging cause attached.
Return windows, credit incentives, and policy wording can differ by market instead of one rule stretched over all of them.

A refund ends the order. An exchange or store credit keeps the revenue and gives the shopper what they actually wanted. Return Rescue works out which of those a request should get, offers it to the shopper at the moment they ask, and holds the cases that need a person to look.
The same data feeds back into the catalogue. When a product is returned for the same reason again and again, that reason gets named and ranked by the money behind it.
Each one solves a different part of the same problem, and each one can be switched on by itself.

Read the returns teardownOpstimal Return Rescue installs into Shopify admin. No theme edit, no code, no separate account to create.
The app reads your order, refund, and return history so its first recommendations come from your own numbers rather than a template.
Decisions, SKU fixes, and market policies are separate modules. Switch on the ones you are ready for and leave the rest off.
Installing from the Shopify App Store is the usual route. The box beside this one is the shortcut for merchants who already know their store domain.
